The Sagrantino di Montefalco Riserva 25° DOCG produced by Arnaldo Caprai represents one of the highest expressions of quality and wine-making tradition in Umbria. This wine is a tribute to Arnaldo Caprai's passion and dedication to viticulture and the native sagrantino grape, cultivated in the hills of Montefalco.

This wine stands out for its extraordinary complexity and deep structure. On the nose, the Sagrantino di Montefalco Riserva 25° reveals intense aromas of ripe black fruits such as plums and blackberries, enriched with spicy nuances of black pepper and notes of dark chocolate, due to the aging in French oak barriques that lasts about 24 months.

On the palate, it is powerful yet balanced, with robust but well-rounded tannins that promise considerable aging potential. The acidity is lively and well integrated, contributing to a long and persistent finish, characterized by a pleasant aftertaste of dried fruit and spices.

Best served around 18°C, this wine can be a magnificent accompaniment to intense dishes such as roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses, enhancing every nuance and complexity of the dish.

The Sagrantino di Montefalco Riserva 25° DOCG is an excellent choice for those looking for a wine with depth, capable of evolving beautifully over time. Recommended not only for enthusiasts of robust and structured wines but also for those who wish to discover the heart of Umbrian wine tradition through a truly emblematic glass of wine.
