Bastianich's Vespa Bianco IGT is a white wine that represents one of the greatest examples of excellence and innovation from the Bastianich winery, located in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia. This wine is the result of the assembly of selected Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc grapes and, in some vintages, a small percentage of Picolit, which gives the blend a further dimension of complexity and uniqueness. The Bastianich family, with the creation of Vespa Bianco, wanted to express the richness and variety of the Friulian territory, exploiting the versatility of international and native vines to produce a wine of extraordinary depth and structure.
Winemaking involves the use of cutting-edge techniques, with particular attention to fermentation and refinement. The wine ferments and ages in French oak barriques, a process that enriches its aromatic profile with elegant notes of vanilla, spices and a lightly toasted touch, while maintaining the freshness and intensity of the fruits.
Visually, Vespa Bianco presents itself with an intense golden yellow color, which suggests its richness and complexity. On the nose, it offers a wide spectrum of aromas: from ripe white pulp fruit, such as peach and apricot, to citrus fruits, up to floral nuances, honey and mineral notes, all enriched by elegant accents of wood and vanilla deriving from aging in barrique .
In the mouth, Vespa Bianco expresses itself with extraordinary complexity, perfectly balancing the lively acidity with the richness of the body. Ripe fruit flavors blend with mineral and sweet spice notes, leading to a long and persistent finish that leaves an impression of elegance and refinement.
Ideal as an aperitif wine or paired with refined dishes of fish, seafood, white meats and blue cheeses, Bastianich's Vespa Bianco IGT is a fine choice for enthusiasts of high-quality white wines looking for a complex tasting experience , capable of combining the Friulian winemaking tradition with a modern and global vision of the world of wine.
