La Chouffe is a Belgian strong ale with an important alcohol content of 8%. This golden-colored beer with an abundant white and creamy foam has won several awards over the years and conquered the palates of beer enthusiasts from all over the world. In 2016 it won the silver medal at the World Beer Awards competition.
La Chouffe is a beer with a unique and very pleasant taste, with a slightly hoppy flavour, which releases citrus and at the same time refreshing notes on the palate, pleasantly spiced and characterized by excellent drinkability despite the high alcohol content. With a good carbonation, this beer on the nose has floral and fruity accents mixed with notes of coriander.
Excellent if enjoyed in combination with appetizing aperitifs, white meats, smoked salmon and sushi.
