Duvel 6.66, is a Strong Belgian Ale born on the occasion of the 150th anniversary celebration of the brewery, and owes its name to the percentage of alcohol it contains.
A beer certainly more delicate than the classic version with an alcohol content of 8.5 °. Fruit of the mixture of six different hops, wheat, barley and orange peel, it is produced using the dry-hopping technique.
Of color turbid blond in the glass, is finished with a very consistent white foam. The nose has rich fruity aromas, blended with spicy and malty notes. On the palate we find the aromas spicy and malty present on the nose, as well as a very tasty flavor of hops and fruit, ending with a light bitter background.
Its excellent organoleptic qualities stand out in combination with rich platters of mixed cold cuts and cheeses, as well as grilled meat main courses and well-topped pizzas.
