The Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona winery is renowned for producing wines that embody the passion, history and quality of the Montalcino area, with particular attention to sustainability and the authentic expression of the terroir.
Brunello di Montalcino by Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona is produced exclusively with Sangiovese Grosso grapes, known locally as "Brunello". These grapes are carefully selected from the estate's vineyards, located in optimal positions that benefit from an ideal climate and soil for the cultivation of this vine. The winemaking follows the rigorous quality standards imposed by the DOCG denomination (Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin), with a long fermentation and maturation in oak barrels for at least two years, followed by further refinement in the bottle. At sight, the wine has an intense ruby red color, which tends towards garnet with aging.
