The term "Potazzine" in Montalcino is used to indicate the great tits, small lively and colorful birds that live in the Tuscan countryside, and it becomes an affectionate name with which grandparents and parents address their little girls. In fact, it was the maternal grandmother who gave that name to Viola and Sofia, the daughters of Giuseppe and Gigliola Gorelli, owners of the company and Montalcino from birth.
An oenological masterpiece, produced only with the best vintages. We are talking about something that must receive appreciation, and a lot of passion, in order to be savored in the correct way. It is the maximum expression and result of the workmanship of the Le Potazzine house. An explosion of flavours, which over time and aging acquires more and more intensity and robustness.
