The Bolgheri Superiore DOC "Campo al Fico" from Az Agr. i Luoghi is a sublime expression of viticulture from Bolgheri, a region renowned for the production of exceptionally high-quality wines. This wine is the result of a meticulous selection of typical regional grape varieties, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sangiovese, which provide a complex and harmonious structure.
When poured into the glass, it displays an intense ruby red color, nearly opaque, heralding the olfactory and taste richness of the wine. On the nose, "Campo al Fico" offers a complex bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices like vanilla and cocoa, along with hints of aromatic herbs and a light touch of minerality that reflects the unique terroir of Bolgheri.
On the palate, its substantial structure balances perfectly with well-dosed freshness and finely woven tannins. The introduction is vigorous, evolving towards a medium-full palate with a long and agreeably persistent finish.
