The harvest of this Gewurztraminer begins in mid-October when the grapes are fully ripe. After harvesting, it is de-stemmed and then macerated in the press for over 10 hours.
Then we move on to pressing and then to natural clarification; everything will end with fermentation in steel at 18 ° C. For 6 months the wine matures on the fine lees and will be bottled in May.
Gewürztraminer has a deep golden yellow color that is almost shimmering to the eye. The nose releases very complex and intense aromas, reminiscent of dried rose petals, mint, cinnamon, cloves, lychees and other exotic fruits.
On the palate it is very fresh, with a pleasant acidity and a finish to be discovered. A 360 ° wine that goes very well with all courses, from aged cheeses to fish or meat dishes, through Asian sweet and sour cuisine but also pastries and desserts.
