The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG denomination represents one of the most prestigious and appreciated Italian wines, known for its extraordinary aromatic richness, complexity and aging potential. An Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG in Rehoboam format, presented in a wooden case by Secondo Marco, further elevates the concept of exclusivity and celebration linked to this exceptional wine.

The Rehoboam format, equivalent to six standard 750ml bottles, is a rare and impactful choice, ideal for special occasions, large celebrations or as a prestige piece within a wine collection. The presentation in a wooden case adds a touch of elegance and underlines the importance and value of the contents, making this Amarone even more special.

Secondo Marco, located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica region, is a winery dedicated to the production of wines that faithfully express the terroir and local winemaking tradition, with a particular focus on sustainability and quality. The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG by Secondo Marco is produced according to traditional methods, which involve the drying of the Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, followed by slow fermentation and refinement in oak barriques, to obtain a wine of profound complexity, structure and elegance.

Visually, Amarone in Rehoboam format captures attention with its deep, intense red color. On the nose, it opens with a rich bouquet of dehydrated red and black fruits, spicy notes, chocolate, tobacco and balsamic nuances, which reflect the concentration and intensity obtained through the drying process.

In the mouth, the wine offers an extraordinary tasting experience, with a perfect harmony between power and finesse, silky tannins and a balanced acidity that contributes to great drinkability despite its robust structure. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a sensation of warmth and complexity that invites reflection.

Ideal as a meditation wine or combined with intense and tasty dishes, such as braised meats, meat stews, game and mature cheeses, the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG in Rehoboam format, presented in a wooden case by Secondo Marco, represents a unique opportunity to celebrate the most significant moments, offering a memorable tasting experience that combines tradition, quality and winemaking mastery of Valpolicella.

Winery history
Secondo Marco is the personal project of Marco Speri, originated within the historic Speri family and established as an independent winery in 2008. The winery was founded to interpret Valpolicella according to Marco’s vision and taste, with a focus on grape selection and traditional techniques such as grape drying for Amarone.
Production philosophy
The winery aims to express the character of the terroir through an approach that combines tradition and research: careful vineyard management, hand selection of the bunches, use of appassimento and winemaking focused on preserving sapidity and the grape's aromas. For the Amarone, the winery states long, spontaneous fermentations without added yeasts. The emphasis is on organoleptic quality and territorial identity.
Terroir and vineyards
Valpolicella Classica from the municipality of Fumane. Vineyards lie at the foot of the valley on clay-limestone soils, with a microclimate influenced by winds from the Monti Lessini and Lake Garda.
