Secondo Marco's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is an oenological jewel born in the historic vineyards of Valpolicella Classica, a territory renowned for its wines of extraordinary complexity and depth. Secondo Marco, a winery that carries forward a philosophy of profound respect for the land and the winemaking traditions of the region, is committed to the production of wines that are an authentic expression of the terroir, using sustainable methods and scrupulous attention in every phase of the production process.

Secondo Marco's Amarone is the result of a rigorous selection of the best Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, vines which, through the drying process, concentrate their natural sugars, acids and aromas, giving life to a wine of unparalleled richness . After drying, which lasts a few months, the grapes are delicately pressed and fermented, followed by a long refinement in oak barriques which helps to round out the tannins and integrate aromatic complexity into the wine.

This Amarone has an intense ruby red color, tending towards garnet as it evolves in the bottle. On the nose, it opens with a wide range of aromas, from ripe red and black fruits, such as plums, cherries and blackberries, to spicy and balsamic notes, with nuances of tobacco, chocolate and vanilla adding further levels of complexity. The skilful use of wood in the aging process enriches the wine without overpowering the rich fruity expression.

In the mouth, Secondo Marco's Amarone Classico reveals its majestic structure, with robust but velvety tannins and an acidity that supports its elegance and freshness. The alcoholic power is well balanced by the aromatic richness and flavor complexity, which translate into a long and persistent finish, marked by a pleasant harmony between fruit, spices and woody notes.

Perfect in combination with intense and structured dishes, such as braised red meats, game and mature cheeses, but also as a meditation wine, Secondo Marco's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is an expression of high quality and enological passion, capable of to give unique emotions to wine enthusiasts looking for depth, tradition and innovation in the glass.
