G. Rinaldi's Barbera d'Alba DOC represents an expression of great character and quality of the Barbera vine, one of the most representative and appreciated in the Piedmont region. The G. Rinaldi winery, known for its attention to detail and the traditional approach to viticulture and winemaking, produces this wine from selected grapes coming from the best vineyards located in the Alba area, the beating heart of Piedmontese wine production .
The wine has an intense ruby red color, which invites tasting. On the nose, G. Rinaldi's Barbera d'Alba reveals a rich and complex bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and blackberry emerge, enriched by nuances of spices and a slight hint of vanilla, testifying to a skilful use of wood that enriches the aroma without overwhelming the fruit.
In the mouth, the wine shows an extraordinary combination of liveliness given by the characteristic acidity of the Barbera grape and a solid structure that gives the wine depth and persistence. The tannins are soft and well integrated, making the drink pleasant and balanced, with a long and savory finish that invites another sip.
Ideal in combination with a variety of Piedmontese and international dishes, from red meat to mature cheeses, through robust first courses, G.
