The city of Beaune, located in the heart of Burgundy, France, is surrounded by some of the most renowned Pinot Noir vineyards in the world. Beaune's Premier Cru wines are known for their excellent quality, resulting from the combination of favorable terroir, ideal climate and centuries of winemaking savoir-faire. The appellation "Les Cents Vignes" is one of several Beaune Premier Cru climats, each with its own unique characteristics linked to its location and soil.

A Beaune Rouge Premier Cru "Les Cents Vignes" typically expresses notes of ripe red fruit such as cherries and strawberries, floral accents, sweet spices and a subtle minerality, with fine tannins and an elegant structure that lends itself well to both young consumption and a certain aging. The vinification aims to preserve the freshness and fruity expression of the Pinot Noir, while the aging in oak barriques adds complexity and depth to the wine without overpowering its varietal characteristics.

Although Régnard is most associated with Chablis white wines, a production under his name of a Beaune Rouge Premier Cru could indicate an expansion of the range or a particular collaboration, maintaining the high quality and attention to detail that characterize the winery . A wine like Régnard's Beaune Rouge Premier Cru "Les Cents Vignes" would therefore likely be a refined and distinctive expression of Pinot Noir, reflecting both the richness of Beaune's terroir and the winemaking skill of the producer.

Ideal in combination with delicate meat dishes, roast poultry, mushroom dishes and medium-aged cheeses, a wine of this caliber offers a tasting experience that enchants with its balance, elegance and complexity.

Winery history
The first vineyards were acquired by Auguste Regnard shortly after World War I; management has remained in the family, and since 2010 Florian Regnard has represented the fourth generation. Over time the vineyard has expanded to include plots in appellations such as Maranges, Santenay and Chassagne-Montrachet.
Production philosophy
The estate favors a considered approach to farming, with limited mechanization and extensive manual work; in the cellar a modern approach to winemaking is combined with carefully calibrated wood aging to express the terroir.
Terroir and vineyards
Based in Sampigny-lès-Maranges, in the Maranges appellation. The vineyards extend along the Côte de Beaune as far as Chassagne-Montrachet, on calcareous marl soils, producing diversity and complexity in the wines.
