The Nebbiolo Rosso Ghemme DOCG Vigna Pelizzane 2010 by Torraccia is a wine that expresses with great elegance the unique character of the Novara territory. Produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes grown on the sunny hills of Ghemme, this red stands out for the balance between structure and finesse. The aging, carried out in oak barrels for a prolonged period, imparts complexity and an enveloping tannic texture that is never aggressive.

On the nose it opens with notes of small red fruits, floral aromas of rose, and spicy hints that tell the minerality of the soil. On the palate it reveals persistence, with a pleasant acidity that enhances its freshness and a savory, warm finish. Ideal to accompany meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, the Vigna Pelizzane 2010 is an authentic example of Piedmont’s winemaking tradition, capable of thrilling and telling the story of Nebbiolo in every sip.

Winery history
The company's origins date back to the 1950s, when Pierino Piantavigna planted the first vineyards; it was officially established in 1997 by Alessandro Francoli. Over time ownership and management have evolved to include local family collaborations and an expansion of vineyards and production, while maintaining a focus on the viticultural traditions of the Colline Novaresi.
