This DOCG wine is made from selected Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone grapes, manually harvested in the finest vineyards of the Tessari family, who have been devotedly cultivating vines for generations with passion and respect for the land.
The uniqueness of the Recioto della Valpolicella "L'Eremita" lies in its production method. After harvesting, the grapes are laid out to dry on racks in well-ventilated drying rooms for several months, losing part of their water content and concentrating sugars and aromas. Subsequently, the winemaking process involves slow fermentation, maintaining a delicate balance between natural sweetness and acidity.
The result is a wine with a deep ruby red color and purplish highlights. The nose opens with an intensely aromatic bouquet, rich in notes of ripe fruit such as cherry and plum, enhanced by nuances of chocolate and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine astonishes with its elegance and complexity, with a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness, and a long and pleasant aftertaste.
"L'Eremita" is ideal for pairing with desserts, blue cheeses, or enjoyed as a contemplative drink at the end of a meal.
