A wine of such prestige and quality presented in a Mathusalem format (equivalent to 6 litres, or 8 standard bottles) is a truly spectacular concept. Presented in a wooden case, it is a symbol of luxury and abundance but also an affirmation of the winery's commitment to excellence and tradition, suitable for the most important celebrations or as a collector's piece for the most demanding wine enthusiasts .

Querciabella, located in the heart of Tuscany, is renowned for its dedication to organic and biodynamic agriculture, producing wines that faithfully express the terroir from which they come. A Palafreno Toscana Rosso IGT in Mathusalem format represents the pinnacle of this philosophy, offering a unique and memorable tasting experience thanks to the ability of the larger format to evolve and mature the wine optimally.

Palafreno is known for its extraordinary complexity and depth, with an aromatic profile that ranges from ripe red fruits to earthy and spicy notes, enriched by careful maturation in oak barriques that adds layers of complexity without overpowering freshness and expressiveness of Sangiovese. In the mouth, the wine is rich and enveloping, with elegant tannins and a balanced acidity that promises excellent aging potential.

Presenting the Palafreno in Mathusalem format in a wooden case not only elevates the wine as an object of prestige but also underlines Querciabella's attention to sustainability and respect for the environment, packaging the wine in natural materials that reflect the beauty and the quality of the content.

Its stated goal is to produce wines that express the terroir while maintaining high environmental and biodiversity standards.
