The Mongrana Maremma Toscana Rosso DOC by Querciabella is a splendid representation of the strength and beauty of the Maremma area, an area of Tuscany known for its wild nature and for the production of wines of character. Querciabella, a pioneer winery in organic and biodynamic agriculture in Italy, dedicates extraordinary care and passion to creating wines that reflect the pure essence of their terroir, and Mongrana is no exception.

This red wine is a harmonious blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, varieties which, grown on the sunny hills of the Maremma, give life to a complex, balanced wine deeply linked to its land of origin. Querciabella's philosophy places particular emphasis on respecting the environment and maintaining the natural balance of the vineyards, practices that are reflected in the quality and integrity of their wines.

Visually, Mongrana presents itself with an intense and brilliant red color. On the nose, it offers a rich and inviting bouquet, with predominant notes of red and black fruit, such as cherries, blackberries and plums, enriched by nuances of spices and a light herbaceous note, which adds complexity and freshness to the aromatic profile.

In the mouth, Mongrana demonstrates an excellent structure, supported by soft tannins and a lively acidity which gives the wine a pleasant drinkability. The fruit flavors intertwine with notes of aromatic herbs, tobacco and a delicate mineral vein, the result of the authentic expression of the Maremma soil. The finish is long and satisfying, with an aftertaste that lingers pleasantly, inviting another sip.

Ideal as an accompaniment to a wide range of dishes, from the classic Florentine steak to more elaborate meat preparations, mature cheeses and mushroom dishes, Mongrana is a versatile wine that celebrates Tuscan gastronomic richness. Its accessibility makes it suitable for both daily consumption and special occasions, always offering a rich and satisfying tasting experience.

With Mongrana, Querciabella not only delivers a high-quality wine, but also underlines its commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, demonstrating that it is possible to produce exceptional wines in harmony with nature.
