Campanone is a sparkling red wine produced in the Novellara area in the province of Reggio Emilia. Its name derives from the bell tower of the Rocca dei Gonzaga di Novellara whose shape is also recalled by the bottle.
It is made with grapes from the Marani and Lambrusco Salamino vines, carefully selected during the harvest. It is produced according to the Charmat method.
It shows an intense ruby red color. The nose conquers with its fruity bouquet among which notes of blueberries and blackberries stand out. On the palate it is dry and at the same time lively, particularly fruity, giving a very satisfying taste in the mouth.
A sparkling red wine that goes well with first and second courses. meat based.
