The Sangiovese Superiore Riserva Luis was born in Vergiano di Rimini, at an altitude of about 100 m a.s.l. The grapes are harvested around the second and third ten days of September; the carefully selected bunches during the harvest are placed in crates and gently mashed. Fermentation takes place absolutely spontaneously, at room temperature in small containers. The refinement is carried out in large 15Hl barrels for a period of 24 months, to favor stabilization.
It shows off a ruby red color with intense and bright garnet reflections. It gives the nose a fine bouquet punctuated by floral aromas, spicy scents and some notes of undergrowth and ripe fruit. The sip has a slight tension and a lively tannin, with a pleasant and savory taste that accompanies a persistent and satisfying finish.
Excellent wine to bring to the table during lunches or dinners with friends or family in combination with important meat dishes, mixed grills and aged cheeses.
