Moro Bendato is a Sangiovese produced by Tenuta Santa Lucia. This farm, which is located in Mercato Saraceno (FC), aims to produce excellent quality wines that are in harmony with the territory. For this he only cultivates native vines such as Sangiovese, which is used to produce Moro Bendato. For over 20 years, this vine has given rise to excellent dark berries, which give rise to this wine thanks to spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration on oak barrique skins. Finally, the wine is aged for a long time: first for a year in oak barrels, then for 3 months in steel and finally for another year in the bottle.
Il Moro Bendato has a deep ruby red color with purple hues. Its perfume brings to mind small berries, vanilla and tobacco. On the other hand, it is full-bodied on the palate with a clean and persistent aftertaste.
This Sangiovese is excellent with meat dishes and aged cheeses.
