This wine is the result of a meticulous selection of 100% Montepulciano grapes. This prized Reserve, whose first production dates back to 1988, takes its name from one of the most fascinating beaches of the Conero Riviera, known as Sassi Neri.
The winemaking process takes place in steel, followed by a period of maturation in barrique which lasts for 12-24 months. The next phase includes further refinement in the bottle, which lasts for at least 6 months.
Of an intense ruby color with garnet reflections, this wine presents an aromatic bouquet of extraordinary intensity. Fruity notes clearly emerge, with small red berries from the forest floor, accompanied by subtly spicy and balsamic tones. When tasted, the wine is characterized by a decisive and virile entry, with a rich and at the same time long and enveloping tannin. The taste-olfactory persistence is remarkable.
It goes beautifully with red meats, roasts, braised and boiled meats. Also excellent in combination with dishes based on mushrooms and truffles.
