Domaines Faiveley's Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru "Les Porets Saint-Georges" is another exceptional example of this historic Burgundy winery's talent for producing wines of depth and refinement. Located in one of the most renowned areas of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the "Les Porets Saint-Georges" vineyard benefits from ideal conditions for Pinot Noir, resulting in a wine that fully embodies the expression of its terroir.

With a history dating back to 1825, Domaines Faiveley is recognized for its meticulous attention to detail and sustainable approach, which together allow it to precisely convey the specificity of each vineyard. The Premier Cru "Les Porets Saint-Georges" is a wine that demonstrates a perfect balance between power and elegance, the result of careful vinification and calibrated maturation in French oak barriques.

At sight, the wine has an intense and inviting ruby red color. On the nose, it expresses a complex and enveloping bouquet, with dominant notes of ripe red and black fruits, such as cherries, blackberries and plums, enriched by nuances of spices, dried flowers and a light touch of vanilla and chocolate, deriving from the elegant integration with the wood.

In the mouth, "Les Porets Saint-Georges" reveals a rich structure and a fine tannic texture, which gives the wine an enveloping but never overwhelming presence. The well-measured acidity brings freshness and dynamism, balancing the richness of the fruit and leading towards a long and persistent finish, where the earthy and mineral notes blend with the fruity and spicy ones, leaving a complex and satisfying sensation.

This Premier Cru is a wine that lends itself beautifully to ageing, evolving over time to reveal even more complex layers of aromas and flavours. It is ideal in combination with red meat dishes, game and hard cheeses, where its complexity and structure can be fully appreciated.

The production of "Les Porets Saint-Georges" testifies to Domaines Faiveley's commitment to elevating each wine to a true expression of art, celebrating the richness of Burgundy and the nobility of Pinot Noir. With each sip, it offers a journey into the heart of Nuits-Saint-Georges, inviting enthusiasts to explore the depth and beauty of this unique terroir.
