The Prosecco Extra Dry "Pink Pearl" from the Piera Martellozzo winery represents a unique and refined expression of the Friuli region. The specialty of this cuvée lies not only in its delicately pink color but also in the masterful balance between sweetness and freshness that is typical of the Extra Dry style.

Sourced from vineyards ripened under the generous sun of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, this Prosecco is the result of meticulous selection of Glera grapes, with a touch of Pinot Noir that gives it its characteristic pearl pink color. The vinification process follows the Charmat method, allowing the wine to preserve the liveliness and aromatic qualities of the grapes.

On the nose, "Pink Pearl" entices with delicate notes of red fruits, particularly strawberries and raspberries, enriched by floral nuances and a slight hint of bread crust, a result of its brief aging on the lees. On the palate, the wine is vibrant and fresh, with a pleasant acidity that balances the residual sweetness and culminates in a persistent and clean finish.

This Prosecco is ideal as an aperitif but also pairs beautifully with light appetizers, seafood dishes, and even not-too-rich desserts. Its versatility makes it an excellent choice for any kind of celebration, adding a touch of elegance and festivity to the occasion.

Serve chilled, between 6 and 8 degrees Celsius, to fully enjoy its organoleptic qualities. With Piera Martellozzo's Prosecco Extra Dry "Pink Pearl," every moment is an occasion to toast with style and lightness.

Winery history
The company’s history dates back to the late 19th century, with the first generation of the Martellozzo family active in 1899 in the province of Padua. In the 1990s Piera, of the third generation, took the helm of the business, began re-evaluating indigenous grape varieties and launched its first organic line. In the early 2000s the headquarters were consolidated in San Quirino, in the Friuli Grave area, serving as the starting point for expansion into national and international markets.
Production philosophy
The estate combines respect for the land with an innovative approach: careful selection of well‑suited vineyard parcels, the production of wines that reflect the local territory, and a focus on sustainable practices through measures such as photovoltaic systems, lightweight packaging, water reuse and careful selection of label materials.
Terroir and vineyards
Primarily operating in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with ties to the Triveneto region; the wines are an expression of gravelly soils and a microclimate tempered by the Adriatic and sheltered by the mountains to the north.
