Estrella Damm Daura is a special gluten-free beer. In 1921, the Fabrica de Cerveza Damm produced Estrella Dorada for the first time, a prototype of what we know today as Estrella Damm, which slowly makes itself known and appreciated internationally.
It is produced using all natural ingredients such as: water, rice, corn, barley malt and hops. Although it contains barley malt, this beer, after a long phase of research and experimentation, is made with gluten at a level of 3ppm, this means that gluten is reduced to 3 parts per million, this makes Estrella Damm Daura suitable for coeliacs, since everything that does not exceed 20ppm is considered "gluten-free".
Estrella Damm Daura is a light beer that is chosen every day not only by coeliacs, but by everyone, as the flavor is substantially identical to the versions with gluten. In the glass it has a golden blond color, with a light but long-lasting white foam. A mixture of aromas opens up on the nose, including: fresh bread and yeast, broom and other aromatic herbs such as sage and thyme. On the palate it is rather sweet, with an intense and pleasant taste of bread, malt and honey, a little bitter on the finish.
Estrella Daura goes perfectly with quiches, snacks and flans. You can also accompany it with fish, white meat and fresh cheeses.
