Presented in a prestigious Magnum format, this wine comes from the specific "ca' Guicciardi" vineyard, a jewel of the Nino Negri winery, which is synonymous with tradition and excellence in Valtellina wine production. The name "Inferno" reflects the particularly arduous conditions for viticulture, characterized by steep terraces exposed to the sun which contribute to optimal ripening of the Nebbiolo grapes, locally called Chiavennasca, giving the wine a unique concentration and complexity.
At sight, the wine stands out for its deep garnet red color, with reflections that tend to intensify with aging. On the nose it offers a rich and complex olfactory bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruit, spices, aromatic herbs and a subtle balsamic touch, evidence of the elegant aging in wood which enriches the wine without overpowering its varietal characteristics.
In the mouth, the wine reveals a powerful yet balanced structure, with finely crafted tannins that blend harmoniously with the natural acidity of Nebbiolo. This balance gives the wine a pleasant and long-lasting drink, with a finish that brings back the olfactory sensations and adds an inviting mineral vein typical of the soil of this particular area of Valtellina.
Ideal for accompanying structured meat dishes, such as braised meats, stews and game, the Magnum format is perfect for special occasions, offering not only a memorable tasting experience but also a moment of sharing. Furthermore, thanks to its aging capacity, this wine represents a valuable addition to any cellar, destined to evolve and improve over time.
