The Rosato IGP Basilicata "Lerà," produced by the Terra dei Re winery, is an elegant expression of native Lucanian grape varieties, well known for its refined balance and fresh vivacity. This rosé wine is primarily made from Aglianico grapes, carefully selected from vineyards located in the heart of the historic Basilicata region.

The color of "Lerà" is a bright cherry pink that immediately captures the eye. On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of fresh red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries, accompanied by a light floral note reminiscent of rose petals and a hint of aromatic herbs that adds complexity to the bouquet.

On the palate, the wine reveals a well-balanced structure with a refreshing acidity that stimulates the palate, maintaining a medium-light body that makes it extremely drinkable. The finish is pleasantly long and persistent, with an aftertaste that recalls red fruits and a light spiciness.

Served chilled, the Rosato IGP Basilicata "Lerà" is ideal as an aperitif or paired with light appetizers, fish dishes, or fresh cheeses. Its versatility also makes it perfect for accompanying Mediterranean cuisine dishes, especially those with delicate aromaticity.

This wine not only celebrates the richness of the Lucanian terroir but also offers a sensory experience that speaks to the hearts of rosé wine lovers in search of elegance and authenticity.

Winery history
The project began in the early 21st century at the initiative of the Rabasco and Leone families; the first harvests and winemaking date back to the early 2000s. Over the years the estate has developed vineyards in the prime contrade of Monte Vulture and introduced labels such as Divinus, Nocte and Vulcano 800. Since 2018/2019 it has collaborated with winemaker Riccardo Cotarella.
Production philosophy
Production oriented toward respect for the territory and sustainability: precision agriculture practices, emissions reduction, use of photovoltaic systems and rainwater harvesting, with the aim of minimizing the environmental impact of the bottles. The company also states that it was among the first in the wine sector to obtain the Friend of the Earth certification.
Terroir and vineyards
Operations take place on the slopes of Monte Vulture: volcanic soils, a strong diurnal temperature range and varying altitudes that favour the expression of Aglianico, Pinot Nero and white varieties. The winery is part of the DOC Aglianico del Vulture.
Awards and recognitions
The winery and its wines have received numerous national and international recognitions: examples include high scores and mentions in specialized guides, repeated "Tre Bicchieri" awards for the Aglianico "Nocte", as well as prizes for sparkling wines and other labels.
