Librandi is a renowned winery located in the heart of Calabria, a region known for its rich winemaking tradition. The Calabria Rosso IGT Megonio from Librandi is a wine that embodies the essence of the Calabrian terroir, offering a unique and captivating sensory experience.

Produced exclusively with selected Magliocco grapes, a native varietal of the region, this wine showcases the passion and respect for local traditions that characterize Librandi's production. The harvest is done by hand, ensuring the selection of the best grapes to preserve their quality. After the harvest, the wine is aged in French oak barrels, which help round out the flavors and integrate complex aromas of sweet spices.

The Calabria Rosso IGT Megonio displays an intense red color with violet reflections. On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of ripe wild berries, notes of plum, hints of tobacco, and spices such as vanilla. On the palate, it is robust, well-structured with velvety tannins that harmonize beautifully with a fresh acidity. This balance makes it particularly enjoyable and invites another sip.

Suitable for aging, it evolves well even after several years in the bottle, gaining more complexity and aromatic nuances. Megonio is an ideal wine to pair with hearty dishes of Calabrian and Mediterranean cuisine, such as meat roasts, spicy dishes, and aged cheeses.

Serve at a temperature of around 18°C to enhance all its nuances. With its rich history and excellent flavor profile, the Calabria Rosso IGT - Megonio from Librandi is an authentic expression of Calabrian winemaking heritage. A true gem for wine lovers seeking a glass that tells a story of land, tradition, and passion.
