The extra virgin olive oil of the Librandi Calabrian winery is born in Casaneto, Cirò Marina, Rocca di Neto from olives produced from Calabrian cultivars: Carolea 50%, Frantoio 20%, Tonda Strongolese 20%, Leccino 10%.
The harvest is done manually, between October and November; the olives are cold pressed within 3 hours. The oil mill, which is located in a brand new building adjacent to the cellar and fully functional since the 2005 campaign, is equipped with the most modern technologies, with a continuous cycle Alfa Laval system for cold pressing.
The result obtained is a quality extra virgin olive oil that is extremely pleasant on the palate. It has a low acidity, a rather intense and at the same time soft flavor, and a particularly fruity taste softened by a particular spicy note.
