The Rosato Toscana IGT "Poggio a Rosi" by Melini is a wine that embodies the freshness and elegance of Tuscan rosés, produced in the historic Italian wine region. Melini, a winery with a long tradition and deep knowledge of the territory, has carefully selected the grapes to produce "Poggio a Rosi", a wine that reflects the perfect balance between structure and aroma, typical of quality rosés.

This IGT Rosé is obtained mainly from Sangiovese grapes, the emblematic vine of Tuscany, which gives the wine fruity notes and a pleasant acidity, enriched by a short maceration in contact with the skins to obtain the characteristic rosé color and intensify the aromas.

Visually, it presents itself with a pale and brilliant pink color, with coral reflections that highlight its liveliness. On the nose, the bouquet is fresh and fragrant, with dominant notes of red fruits such as cherries and strawberries, enriched by floral nuances and a light herbaceous touch, which give the wine complexity and depth.

In the mouth, it reveals a light but balanced structure, with a refreshing acidity that supports its fruity and floral expressiveness, leading to a clean and pleasantly persistent finish. Its freshness and drinkability make it a versatile wine suitable for different drinking occasions.

Ideal as an aperitif, "Poggio a Rosi" pairs perfectly with light appetizers, fish dishes, white meats and fresh cheeses. Its elegance and freshness also make it an ideal companion for Mediterranean cuisine, enhancing the delicate flavors and fresh ingredients.

With its Rosato Toscana IGT "Poggio a Rosi", Melini offers an authentic and refined expression of Tuscan rosé wine, demonstrating once again its ability to produce wines that are a faithful expression of the territory and its winemaking traditions.

Over the course of the 20th century ownership passed through several hands before becoming part of Gruppo Italiano Vini, which still oversees its brand and production.
