A wine of notable refinement and softness, obtained from grapes grown in the company's most prestigious vineyards. Thanks to the prolonged maturation in French oak barriques and the unique characteristics of the local terroir, this wine represents one of the pinnacles of wine expression in the Bolgheri area.
Its intense ruby red hue anticipates an extraordinary sensory experience. The complex aroma of the wine opens with fresh fruity notes of red berries, including cherry, plum and blackberry. A suggestive balsamic and spicy trace adds a fascinating touch to the aromatic bouquet. In the sip, it reveals itself to be deep and enveloping, and silky. The distinctive minerality gives freshness and elegance to the wine, while the tannic texture, particularly balanced, translates into a prolonged finish, pervaded by the persistence of the fruit.
At the table, it goes beautifully with meat dishes, especially those based on lamb.
