“Sarpa” in Veneto dialect means “pomace”, the raw material from which Grappa is obtained. A barricaded grappa elevated in 225 liter French oak barrels, which give it its wonderful golden amber color. Sarpa Oro contains all the passion and tradition handed down over the years, from generation to generation.
Sarpa Oro al merito is a special edition dedicated to Bruno Paietta, the master cooper. Bruno worked at Poli Distillerie for over thirty years, always putting his heart into it. Sarpa Oro al merito is a numbered edition, produced in limited quantities. This is a recognition by the Poli family of its historic collaborators
This grappa is dedicated to lovers of barricaded grappas and lovers of complex and particular flavours, which over the years has found its maximum expression.
One sip will be enough to discover and learn about the ancient traditions of a family of Italian distillers, who from the late Middle Ages to today have marked a piece of history. A distillate characterized by a rather particular flavor that recalls the aromas of cedar and liquorice, for a unique and inimitable taste.
