Strega Liqueur, a famous distillate produced by the historic Alberti Distillery, is a true icon of Italian tradition in the world of liqueurs. Originating from the city of Benevento, this liqueur has been continuously produced since 1860 according to a recipe that, even today, remains a closely guarded secret.
Strega Liqueur owes its name to the legendary story of the witches of Benevento, who, according to legend, gathered at the site where the factory now stands to celebrate their Sabbaths. The beverage is the result of a masterful blend of over 70 herbs and spices from around the world, including Ceylon cinnamon, European juniper, and aromatic mint. These natural ingredients are macerated and subsequently distilled to extract pure and aromatic essences.
Visually, the liqueur displays a golden yellow color, distinctive and inviting. On the nose, Strega Alberti Liqueur offers a complex and persistent bouquet, with herbaceous notes well balanced by hints of mint and sweet spices. On the palate, it is smooth and harmonious, with a pleasant balance between sweetness and aromaticity that makes it versatile and appreciated by a wide audience.
