San Leonardo is one of the most renowned and awarded Italian red wines. It represents the result of a winemaking tradition known globally as the "Bordeaux blend", which involves the blending of wines from grapes of different vines.

It is a powerful and elegant red, in which the colours, aromas and flavors of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot blend harmoniously. These wines are matured for 18/24 months in small oak barrels, giving life to a unique, intense wine with great depth of flavour.

The glass reveals a ruby ​​red color with a light garnet nuance on the edge. On the nose, elegant and delicate notes of cherry, plum, dark spices and tobacco emerge. On the palate it has an intense, complex and articulated flavour. The vigorous tannins are accompanied by an important savory background.

This wine lends itself to being paired with a variety of dishes, such as red meats, poultry, roasts, braised meats, game and mature cheeses.
