It was the Arabs who introduced the Zibibbo grape into Italy; in fact, the name in Arabic means "raisin" and has always been a fantastic ambassador of the Mediterranean.
This label was born in the Agro Marsala area from grape berries grown with Guyot pruning. The harvest takes place in September, the vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (16/18°C); after the first 5-6° of alcohol, ethanol of wine origin is added to reach about 16° and block the fermentation process, thus preserving most of the sugars and aromas of the must.
In the glass it shows a light straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose there are marked hints of apricot jam and candied citrus fruits, with aromas of flowers and notes of orange blossom honey. A glass that is pleasantly harmonious and persistent. On the palate it is sweet, persistent and full-bodied, with decisive notes of honey and fruit in syrup.
Excellent dessert wine to pair with dry and creamy pastries, nougat, fruit in general and with all the artisanal ice creams of the Sicilian tradition.
