The origin of the name "Pecorino grape", also remembered as "sheep grape", derives from the presence of this vine in the transhumance areas of the shepherds. In the past it was used as a blend improver, due to the concentration of aromas, the good alcohol content and the acid component, which is the primary characteristic of Pecorino.
Umani Ronchi offers a bright straw yellow wine, with great pleasures offering crunchy fruity hints such as apple verse and medlar, followed by scents of white flowers and an ever-present and gratifying balsamic note. On the palate the notes of freshness given by the excellent flavor and acidity stand out.
