Presented in a Magnum format, which enhances its presence and favors its evolution over time, this wine comes from the renowned "Fracia" vineyard, located in the Valgella sub-area, one of the most prestigious and suitable areas for the cultivation of Nebbiolo, here called Chiavennasca , in Valtellina.
Vigna Fracia stands out for its intense garnet red color, a prelude to a complex and profound olfactory experience. On the nose, it opens with a bouquet rich in aromas of ripe red fruit, floral notes of rose and violet, and nuances of spices and tobacco, enriched by a light mineral vein that reflects the unique terroir from which it comes.
In the mouth it reveals a full body and a well-balanced structure. The tannins, while present, are finely crafted and integrated, contributing to a velvety and complex palate. The acidity, characteristic of Nebbiolo grown in these Alpine latitudes, gives freshness and a long persistence, with a finish that echoes the notes perceived on the nose, leaving a sensation of elegance and depth.
This wine is particularly suitable for accompanying rich and tasty dishes, such as roasted red meats, game dishes and mature cheeses. Its complexity and character also make it an excellent candidate for meditative tasting, offering a continuous evolution in the glass that surprises and delights.
