The Sherry Romate Riserva Ambrosia Moscatel is one of the most refined examples that express the essence of the Moscatel grape, cultivated in the fertile lands of Jerez, Spain. This wine is produced by Bodegas Romate, one of the most historic and respected wineries in the world, renowned for its dedication to tradition, but also for the adoption of innovative techniques in the winemaking process.
The Riserva Ambrosia Moscatel offers an intensely aromatic experience on the palate, where scents of raisins, figs, and dates merge with sweet notes of honey and caramel, creating an almost mystical balance. The texture is velvety and dense, almost syrupy, typical of an excellent aged Moscatel.
The wine's color is a deep amber, reflecting brightness and richness. In tasting, this Sherry begins with a sweet attack that gradually gives way to a pleasant acidic freshness, revealing an extremely complex and layered body. Its lingering flavors and long, pleasantly sweet aftertaste make it an ideal companion for rich desserts, such as fruit cakes and crème brûlée, but it can be equally surprising as an aperitif served with blue cheeses or dried fruit.
