The bunches are grown both in the hilly area with medium consistency soils and in the Luni plain with a predominance of sandy soils. The peculiarities of these two different terroirs, together with the intrinsic characteristics of the grape variety, are reflected in a wine that stands out for its refinement and balance, strongly emphasizing the territorial origin.
To highlight these characteristics as much as possible, a particularly careful and delicate winemaking process is adopted. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with a maceration period on the skins of approximately 10 days and subsequent refinement in large wooden barrels, without being excessively prolonged.
The aromatic profile is characterized by delicate but complex fragrances, with floral notes of violet and dog rose, together with shades of still fresh red fruits, enriched by light spicy nuances. The taste is fresh and dynamic, with a well-defined tannic structure and a finish that has an almond touch.
