This was born in 1997, it is the result of the first harvest of an experimental vineyard created to evaluate the adaptability of various Italian and French vines in the Marche region, including Merlot and Syrah.
The grapes, carefully selected, undergo the fermentation process in steel containers. Subsequently, the wine completes its maturation in barrique for a period of between 12 and 18 months, followed by refinement in the bottle for at least 6 months.
The wine has an intense ruby color and violet reflections. From an olfactory point of view, it is layered and complex, offering fruity, spicy and finely balsamic notes. On the palate it is delicate, and the length of the tannins gives the wine exceptional harmony and pleasantness.
It pairs perfectly with red meats such as steak, Florentine steak and pigeon. It is particularly suitable for spicy cuisines and goes excellently with medium-aged cheeses, such as pecorino cheeses typical of the Marche region.
