Bourgogne Tonnerre Blanc - Dominique Gruhier is a white wine that comes from Burgundy, one of the most celebrated and historically rich wine regions in France. Dominique Gruhier, the producer of this wine, is known for his careful and sustainable approach to viticulture, as well as his ability to authentically express the character and complexity of the Burgundian terroir through his wines.

Bourgogne Tonnerre is located geographically close to Chablis, in the Tonnerre area, an area that, although less well-known than other Burgundian appellations, has gained attention and appreciation for the quality of its white wines, particularly those produced with Chardonnay grapes. This geographical proximity to Chablis means that the Tonnerre terroir shares some of the unique characteristics that make Chablis wines so distinctive, including mineral-rich limestone soils that give the wine freshness and a marked minerality.

Dominique Gruhier's Bourgogne Tonnerre Blanc is made entirely with Chardonnay grapes, chosen for their quality and ability to reflect the identity of the Tonnerre terroir. Winemaking aims to preserve the purity of the fruit and the expression of the soil, with a measured use of wood so as not to overwhelm the natural characteristics of the grape.

At sight, the wine has a brilliant straw yellow color. On the nose, it offers an elegant and complex aromatic range, with notes of white pulp fruit, such as apple and pear, floral accents, and a distinctive minerality reminiscent of the classic Chardonnays of this region. The use of careful winemaking techniques allows us to enhance these varietal characteristics, adding depth and nuances to the aromatic bouquet.

In the mouth, the Bourgogne Tonnerre Blanc reveals a balanced structure, with a lively acidity that brings freshness and liveliness to the palate. The minerality intertwines harmoniously with the fruit flavors, leading towards a long and clean finish that

leaves a sensation of elegance and persistence. The texture of the wine is creamy but kept alive by the acidity, demonstrating a beautiful complexity that invites tasting.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with fish, seafood, poultry and fresh goat's cheese dishes, the Bourgogne Tonnerre Blanc - Dominique Gruhier is a refined and distinctive expression of Burgundian Chardonnay, offering a tasting experience that combines freshness and the minerality typical of the region's wines.
