After years of experimentation, the Poliziano winery creates a wine that represents the highest expression of tradition, territory and enological innovation. A Nobile di Montepulciano wine that comes from Sangiovese grapes, sometimes accompanied by minimal percentages of other varieties, which ages for about 18 months in French oak tonneaux, during which it acquires an unmistakable style and character.
When poured it appears dark ruby red in color. On the nose, its distinct notes of currants, blueberries and cherries inebriate, with aromas of cocoa, vanilla and hints of tobacco. A balsamic note that opens to a balanced and full sip, with a silky tannic texture and a fruity finish of great persistence.
A red wine suitable for the whole meal but which expresses its best in combination with stewed meats, especially game and game.
