The Passito di Pantelleria DOC "Ben Ryè" by Donnafugata is a dessert wine celebrated worldwide for its extraordinary complexity and aromatic intensity. Made from Zibibbo (Moscato d'Alessandria) grapes, ripened under the serene sun of the island of Pantelleria, this wine is a true masterpiece of balance between sweetness and freshness.

The name "Ben Ryè" comes from Arabic, meaning "son of the wind," a tribute to the sea breeze that caresses the island and helps to concentrate the sugars and aromas in the grapes. Donnafugata's vineyards, located on terraced lands, benefit from a unique microclimate due to the combination of intense sun, strong wind, and the humidity provided by the proximity to the sea.

The harvest is carried out by hand at the end of August, and the grapes undergo a natural drying process that further concentrates the sugars and aromas. Subsequently, the wine undergoes a slow fermentation process and aging in steel barrels, preserving the rich aromas of ripe fruit, such as apricot and peach, combined with hints of honey and aromatic herbs.

Presented in an elegant case, Ben Ryè is an ideal gift for connoisseurs, perfect for special occasions. It pairs beautifully with blue cheeses, dry pastries, and chocolate, but it is also excellent to enjoy on its own, as a wine for contemplation. Its richness is balanced by a pleasant acidity that ensures a long persistence on the palate, leaving an unforgettable impression.

Purchasing the Passito di Pantelleria "Ben Ryè" by Donnafugata means savoring one of the most refined and elegant expressions of the territory of Pantelleria, bearing witness to a winemaking tradition that transforms the fruits of the sun and wind into exquisite nectar.

molto dolci come vini, devono piacere di sicuro. Non ha di certo note fresche, ma molto più complesse e dolci.
Versione proposta da donnafugata eccellente, e di enorme rilevanza nel campo dei passiti
