The Barolo DOCG "Galina" by Crissante Alessandria is a fine and distinctive expression of the Nebbiolo vine, grown in the lands of Piedmont, in the specific area of Galina, one of the most appreciated crus for the production of Barolo. The Crissante Alessandria winery, located in the heart of the Langhe, is guided by a passion and respect for the territory which is reflected in the quality and authenticity of its wines.

This Barolo is characterized by its deep garnet red color, with orange reflections that testify to its evolution over time. On the nose, "Galina" offers a rich and complex bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, enriched by nuances of withered flowers, spices, tobacco and a light trace of leather and wet earth, typical of the Nebbiolo variety when it is grown in high quality terroir.

In the mouth, the Barolo "Galina" by Crissante Alessandria reveals a powerful but elegant structure, with fine and well-integrated tannins that support a rich and enveloping body. The acidity, a distinctive characteristic of Nebbiolo, is well balanced, giving freshness and a long tasting persistence, which ends with a broad and persistent finish, where the fruity and spicy notes blend with a pleasant minerality.

Ideal in combination with structured and intense dishes, such as red meats, game, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses, Barolo "Galina" is also an excellent meditation wine, capable of evolving and enriching itself with new nuances as the years pass .
