An exceptional red wine, an authentic oenological jewel. Produced with passion and dedication in the heart of the Langhe, this vintage offers an extraordinary combination of ripe fruit and lively freshness.

This wine has a rich and enveloping flavor profile with notes of currants, black cherries and ripe plums. Its sweetness is balanced by a pleasant freshness, creating a velvety feeling in the mouth. The finish is persistent with an almond aftertaste.

The aroma opens with a fragrant bouquet of red and black fruits, with light touches of violet and rose. These floral scents mix harmoniously with notes of sweet spices.

It is a versatile wine that pairs well with traditional Piedmontese dishes such as agnolotti with ragù, roast meats or even a simple pizza. It is perfect for anyone looking for an elegant wine, ready to delight the palate.

Winery history
The estate was founded in 1958 when Crissante Alessandria, together with his wife Teresa, decided to vinify the grapes from the family vineyards, which until then had been sold to other wineries in the Langa. Over the years the property expanded its vineyards on La Morra’s best exposures; management has remained family-run and today is led by Michele Alessandria, with the involvement of his sons Alberto and Luca.
Production philosophy
Production rooted in the traditions of the region: use of native grape varieties, traditional winemaking with extended fermentations, and careful ageing in wooden vessels of varying sizes to respect the specific characteristics of each wine.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate’s vineyards are located in the municipality of La Morra, in the Capalot, Galina and Roggeri vineyards. The winery and family residences are situated in the hamlet of Santa Maria Borgata Roggeri.
