Federico Curtaz's Etna Bianco DOC is an oenological gem from the fertile slopes of the Etna volcano in Sicily, a region renowned for producing wines of exceptional quality, thanks to its unique terroir. The "Gamma" cuvée represents one of the most refined expressions of this area, resulting from a rigorous selection of the best Carricante grapes, a native variety of Etna.

This wine features a delicate straw-yellow color with greenish hues that suggest its freshness and liveliness. The nose opens with a complex and intriguing bouquet, characterized by notes of white-fleshed fruit, such as green apple and pear, followed by nuances of white flowers and a subtle touch of aromatic herbs. The minerality is clearly noticeable, typical of the volcanic lava from which the vines emerge, adding a depth and persistence to the aroma.

On the palate, the Etna Bianco Gamma by Federico Curtaz surprises with its extraordinary balance between acidity and body. The freshness is palpable, supported by a solid structure and flavors that reflect the nose, with additions of mineral nuances and a slight salinity in the finish that cleanses the palate. This wine possesses an innate elegance and a persistence that makes it suitable as both an aperitif and paired with delicate dishes of fish, seafood, or fresh cheeses.

The winemaking is conducted with great attention to fermentation techniques, which takes place at controlled temperatures to preserve all the delicate aromas of the grapes. Aging in stainless steel tanks helps maintain the freshness and varietal characteristics of the Carricante, making this wine a splendid example of Federico Curtaz's ability to interpret the Etna terroir.

Etna Bianco DOC - Gamma by Federico Curtaz is thus an excellent choice for those seeking a high-quality Sicilian white wine that expresses complexity, elegance, and a deep connection to its region of origin.
