The Barolo DOCG from Ceretto winery is one of the most prestigious and appreciated wines in the Italian wine scene. Produced in the Langhe, an area of Piedmont famous for the production of exceptional wines, this Barolo is a true symbol of Italian winemaking tradition.
This wine stands out for its intense garnet red color with orange highlights, typical of Barolos that have undergone proper aging. On the nose, it offers a complex and enveloping bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruit, spices, leather, tobacco, and subtle hints of faded rose. These olfactory sensations are an unmistakable sign of the quality of the Nebbiolo grapes, used exclusively for the production of Barolo.
On the palate, it is rich and powerful, yet at the same time balanced, with a perfect integration of robust tannins and a freshness that lingers long. The complexity of the flavor evolves over the minutes, revealing layers of bitter chocolate, damp earth, and vanilla, a result of meticulous aging in oak barrels.
In accordance with DOCG regulations, Ceretto's Barolo undergoes at least 38 months of aging, including 18 in wooden barrels, perfecting its structure and enriching its aromatic profile.
Ideal to accompany dishes of red meats, game and aged cheeses, the Barolo DOCG from Ceretto is a wine that promises to evolve magnificently for many years. Served at a temperature of 18-20°C, it allows to express all its qualities at their best, making it an excellent choice for special occasions or as a prestigious gift for wine enthusiasts.
