A remarkably complex and sophisticated interpretation of Barolo. It is the authentic expression of a single cru, a prestigious label that reveals the unique characteristics of the terroir.

This Barolo originates from a vineyard that produces grapes of extraordinary aromatic intensity. The soils, mainly calcareous with a good presence of silt, contribute to its peculiarity. After the manual harvest, the spontaneous fermentation process with indigenous yeasts takes place in steel tanks at a temperature of 29-31 °C, with a total duration of maceration on the skins of approximately 20-25 days. The wine matures for 36 months in 20-30 hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 2 months in steel and finishes the refinement process with six months in the bottle before marketing.

In the glass, it has a beautiful garnet red color. The olfactory bouquet, rich and elegant, offers aromas of violet, dried flowers, medicinal herbs, small berries, liquorice root and light toasted hints. The sip begins with a good structure, a dense but evolved tannic texture, and a notable complexity and aromatic depth. The finish, harmonious, persistent and fresh, completes the sensorial experience.

Historic winery in the Langhe (Verduno, Piedmont), family-run and active since 1830. Produces typical local wines such as Barolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Pelaverga and Favorita.
Region: Piemonte
Country: Italia
Founded: 1830
Grapes: Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, Freisa, Pelaverga (Pelaverga piccolo), Favorita
Historic Verduno winery operating since 1830. Estate-owned vineyards spread across the crus of Verduno and Monforte. Vinifies exclusively estate-grown grapes, with a strong focus on indigenous grape varieties. The range includes several Barolo, Verduno Pelaverga "Speziale", Barbera d'Alba and Dolcetto d'Alba. Family-run operation with a long local tradition.
Winery history
Family-run for generations, the winery has been in Verduno since the early 19th century. The main building is an 18th-century house adjacent to the historic centre; the family has continued winemaking, maintaining a family-sized operation and management, and preserving the local tradition of producing and bottling wines of the Langhe.
Production philosophy
The winery prioritizes its connection to the territory: it focuses primarily on native grape varieties, produces wine exclusively from estate-grown grapes, and maintains an approach that combines respect for traditional practices, artisanal care, and attention to oenological and agronomic innovations.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the crus of Verduno and Monforte d'Alba. The area's microclimate and the calcareous soils of the Langhe hills shape the character and elegance of the wines, particularly the Nebbiolo/Barolo of Verduno.
Awards and recognitions
Several of the winery's wines have received awards.
