The Champagne Grande Reserve Brut from the renowned Chateau De Bligny is a true symbol of elegance and refinement. This champagne, the result of meticulous selection of grapes from the best vineyards in the Bligny region, offers an astonishing aromatic complexity, with delicate hints of white fruit, notes of toasted bread, and a slight touch of almond.

On the palate, the Grande Reserve Brut stands out for its liveliness and freshness. Its fine and persistent effervescence envelops the palate, leaving a velvety sensation that concludes with a clean and distinctly mineral finish. Thanks to its balanced acidity and well-structured body, this champagne is perfect both as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to sophisticated dishes such as seafood or oven-roasted poultry.

The careful winemaking process and extended aging in the cellar give this champagne superior quality, reflected in both the aromatic profile and the soft, inviting texture. A prestigious choice to celebrate special occasions or to gift a moment of pure gustatory pleasure.

Champagne Château de Bligny – Winery in Côte des Bar (Aube), Champagne

Discover the story and wines of Champagne Château de Bligny.

A Champagne producer located in the heart of the Côte des Bar (Aube, France); known as the region's only "Château" to operate as a grower-producer, with estate-owned vineyards and on-site winemaking.
Region: Côte des Bar (Aube), Champagne
Country: Francia
Grapes: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Arbane, Pinot Blanc, Petit Meslier
The only château in the Champagne region to claim the title of 'Château' while operating as a grower-producer. A vineyard encircling the castle, covering approximately 30 hectares divided into eight parcels. Production of cuvées from traditional varieties: the 'Clos du Château' cuvée blended from historic varieties. All production stages are carried out on the estate.
Winery history
The estate stands on the site of an ancient feudal castle, and the current residence retains period features. Over the centuries, the vineyards around the castle have been expanded and renovated. The estate's recent revival is linked to the involvement of the Rapeneau family, who brought the site back to modern winemaking and began opening it to the public from the late 20th century.
Production philosophy
The estate favors an integrated management of the production process: pressing, winemaking and aging take place within the château. The approach aims to express the character of the terroir through blends that include both the most widespread grape varieties and less common traditional varieties.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located in the Côte des Bar, on steep limestone soils. The climate is among the coldest in the Champagne region, with a terroir described as mineral and lean.
