The Ciallabianco in Magnum format from the Ronchi Di Cialla winery is a tribute to the elegance and diversity of the white wines of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, a region with a long winemaking tradition that excels in the production of high-quality white wines. This wine is a harmonious blend of native and international varieties, chosen to best express the unique character and freshness of the Cialla terroir.

The care and precision in the winemaking process are evident in the aromatic and taste profile of this wine. Ciallabianco has a bright straw yellow color and offers the nose a complex and inviting bouquet, where notes of white pulp fruit, such as peach and pear, intertwine with nuances of white flowers and a touch of minerality that reflects the richness of the Cialla soil.

Fermentation and aging in stainless steel allow the freshness and integrity of the aromas to be preserved, resulting in a wine that enhances the purity of the fruit and the liveliness of the varietal notes. On the palate, Ciallabianco is balanced and refined, with a beautiful acidity that gives dynamism and a long aromatic persistence. The structure is complex but accessible, with a texture that invites drinking and promises excellent versatility at the table.

In Magnum format, Ciallabianco becomes a symbol of conviviality and sharing, perfect for accompanying special moments with friends and family. Its ability to pair with a wide variety of dishes makes it ideal for light starters, fish, seafood and white meat dishes, as well as an excellent choice to accompany vegetarian cuisine and fresh vegetable dishes.

The presentation in Magnum, in addition to underlining the importance of the occasion, also guarantees a better evolution of the wine over time, allowing the aromas and flavors to mature harmoniously. Ronchi Di Cialla's Ciallabianco is therefore a testimony to the passion of this winery for wines that not only tell the story of their territory, but which also invite us to celebrate and share the pleasure of quality wine.

Winery history
The Rapuzzi family founded the estate in 1970 in the small Cialla valley, restoring local vineyards and helping to save Schioppettino when the variety was nearly lost. In the 1970s and 1980s the winery perfected the recovery of vine cuttings, produced the first vintages of Schioppettino and received recognition that brought Cialla’s wines to international auctions. The denomination and boundaries of the Cialla cru were officially established by ministerial acts and regulations in subsequent years, consolidating the estate’s reputation as a custodian of Friulian indigenous varieties.
Production philosophy
The estate works exclusively with native grape varieties, favoring controlled yields, selective harvesting and minimal agronomic interventions. In the cellar, winemaking is kept as natural as possible and wines undergo extended ageing — including in wood — to achieve long-lived wines with a strong expression of terroir. Biodiversity protection and low-impact practices are integral to the production method.
Terroir and vineyards
The winery is located in the Cialla valley, a small hilly amphitheatre overlooking the Colli Orientali del Friuli, characterized by a tempered microclimate between the Adriatic Sea and the Julian Alps and by marly, well-stratified soils that favor the cultivation of local indigenous varieties. The area is officially recognized as the cru CIALLA for certain traditional varieties.
