Il vigneto Margelina nasce nel 1921 a Krasochoria di Lemesos,nell’isola di Cipro, un impianto centenario che comprende 6 differenti tipologie di vitigni autoctoni coltivati con certificazione biologica. Vecchie viti ad alberello amorevolmente coltivate, per un vino rosso vinificato con il metodo classico, con macerazione sulle bucce e fermentazione malolattica svolta.
Un vino realizzato da una miscela di varietà principalmente Mavro; alla mescita si presenta con un elegante colore rosso rubino mentre conquista l'olfatto con i suoi intensi aromi fruttati di ribes nero e frutta rossa candita, seguiti da sorprendenti sentori di peperoni rossi. Un sorso particolarmente piacevole, gustoso e fruttato, leggero ma perfettamente bilanciato.
Si consiglia di abbinarlo a carni rosse e selvaggina, piatti strutturati e formaggi stagionati.
