The distillation takes place in traditional pot stills, followed by a maturation period in barrels that previously housed bourbon and rum, giving the whiskey a unique complexity and surprising aromatic nuances. The result is an amber liquid, with golden hues that shine in the light.
On the nose, the Teeling Small Batch offers rich and enveloping aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, and a subtle hint of green apple. This is enriched by a slight spicy note that hints at the tasting experience ahead.
